Beautiful Liz. So important to get the message out to 'Normies' that alcoholics drink because they have a disease not because they have suffered trauma and grief. I am a high functioning health professional in a small town, wine never got in my way of doing anything until it started to take more than it could give. I began to feel like a shell of my former self so something had to be done. Talking about it helps.
