Me too! If only I could go back and do it all over again. Wait? Can I? :-)

At this point would love a good meal plan, no cooking, cleaning, shopping, sign me up.

I’m fascinated to learn that the topic of “Wherever you go, there you are” is discussed in AA. That’s a theme in my life, even though I’ve never been one to have a drink (I have other problematic vices) so i loved reading about this perspective. Also, is that an Olivetti Lettera 32 typewriter??

What’s the Twain quote? Youth is wasted on the young? Alas, I am who I am…my personality is what it is, and my tolerance for risk (ie “adventure”) probably would be the same. Those tours, though. Colleges have upped their games since the 90s! I think you’re onto something here: a college experience for midlife women? Dorms, classes, clubs, study abroad…

I loved this article. You've come very far in your life and recovery ❤️‍🩹. I hope you feel proud of all you have accomplished. You can always create your own midlife study abroad and the AT is out there...you can do it too! 💪

Love the midlife study abroad idea. And the image of a guide leading a group through the campus representing opportunities they’ll have in the next stage of their lives? Priceless!

This one hit home. Midlife (or post-midlife 🙃) regret and nostalgia can be visceral. Thanks for offering hope, as always ❤️
